Having always worked within the legal sector, both in-house and now in consultancy, Carolyn understands the challenges presented to compliance officers and teams. This deep understanding of the industry allows Carolyn to adopt a holistic approach to consultancy.

Carolyn is a former equity Partner and COLP at a law firm but in 2025 she left the in-house roles to become a compliance consultant, setting up Beal Cooper Compliance Ltd. Carolyn works with small to medium sized law firms to guide them through the regulatory maze, implementing practical, tailored solutions for each firm.

The regulatory landscape is always changing, and with that comes the challenge for firms of reviewing and updating documents, processes and procedures. The changes can be unexpected and complex, and come from many sources. Add in the requirement to keep everyone in the firm updated with the changes, and it can feel overwhelming.
